This is Part 3 of my Centum Spa Land guide — the Centum Spa Land restaurant, how to pay, leaving, and what I personally bring. After a round of jjimjil, it’s time to eat.
If you haven’t read Part 1 (getting in & using the public bath) or Part 2 (the jjimjilbang area) yet, start there first.
Food at the Centum Spa Land Restaurant
Most people go for instant ramen from the ramen machines, but personally, I think having a proper meal at the restaurant is better value.
Ramen with toppings and a drink usually costs around 10,000 won, while a full meal at the restaurant is usually around 13,000–17,000 won.
I usually order the green onion yukgaejang kalguksu (파육개장칼국수).
As a local, this is one of my go-to menus here.
It’s also a safer choice if you’re not used to Korean namul (seasoned vegetables), since it doesn’t contain gosari (bracken fern).
It can be a little spicy, but overall it’s a solid choice.

My mom’s favorite is the spicy octopus and shrimp stir-fry (낙새볶음).
It comes with rice and seaweed soup, and the combination works really well.

How to Order
Go to the counter, place your order, and pay using your locker key.
Your locker key works like a payment card inside Centum Spa Land.
The staff will usually say:
“키 찍어주세요”
This means “Please tap your key.” Just place your key on the round sensor, and the charge will be added to your account.
You’ll receive a vibrating pager. Find a seat and wait until it goes off.
Tip: Window seats have a nicer view, but when the pager vibrates, you’ll need to get up and collect your food yourself. Sitting closer to the hallway is more convenient.
This is not full table service. When the pager goes off, go to the counter, pick up your food, and bring it back to your table.
After eating, return your dishes to the designated return area.
If you want ramen, there’s a separate area called Ottogi Land. As the name suggests, it mainly offers Ottogi ramen, one of Korea’s most popular instant noodle brands.
If you want other brands like Buldak, check the restaurant side instead.
After Eating
After eating, I usually rest for a while to digest, then do another round of jjimjil.
I usually get a bottle of milk tea (Dejava) from the café on the 1st floor as dessert.
For bottled drinks, you can simply take one from the fridge and pay at the counter.
With this rhythm, 4–5 hours pass surprisingly quickly.
I usually plan for the full 6 hours because spending more than 10,000 won inside is very easy.
Leaving
About one hour before I plan to leave, I go back to the public bath area.
Take off your jjimjilbang clothes and towel, and put them into one of the laundry bins around the facility. If you’re not sure where to put them, just ask a staff member.
Take the towel you left in your locker and go back to the bath area for another full shower — head to toe. You’ve been sweating a lot, so I always feel better after washing properly before leaving.
After showering, there is a powder room with mirrors, fans, hair essence, basic skincare, body lotion, and cotton swabs. This is also when I usually use a sheet mask. After sweating and spending time in the hot rooms, it feels really refreshing.
Get dressed, collect your belongings, and go to the settlement counter. Hand in your key and pay.
Important: Even if you spent nothing inside, you still need to go through the settlement counter. Otherwise, the exit gate will not open.
About the 10,000 Won Extension
The 10,000 won spending requirement does not have to be met on each individual key. Charges are combined for the group.
For example, when I visit with my mom, I usually pay everything with my key. At settlement, we simply hand in both keys and receive the 2-hour extension.
After paying, you’ll get your key back. Scan it at the exit gate.
Then go back to the shoe lockers, take your shoes out, and put them on at the designated area. Don’t put your shoes on inside the locker zone.
What I Personally Bring
I always bring my own facial cleanser. For jjimjilbang visits, I usually bring Suisai enzyme powder cleanser. The reason I like it is simple: it comes in individual packets, so it’s really convenient to carry.

Suisai Beauty Clear Powder Wash (Enzyme Cleanser)
Comes in individual packets — this is exactly what I bring to the jjimjilbang.

- one for the first shower
- one for the shower before leaving
After spending hours sweating in the hot rooms, washing my face with my own cleanser feels like a small luxury.
I also bring one sheet mask to use in the powder room.
These are just my personal habits, but they make my jjimjilbang visits much more comfortable.
That’s how I usually spend my time at the Centum Spa Land restaurant and jjimjilbang area. From entering to leaving, this is my normal routine when I visit.
